Gates for bradshaw

Right now I have Vernon David as my starting TE since gates hasn't been as explosive. I have a flex spot thats reeling thats being filled by oakland running backs..fargas at the moment. Since gates is rotting on my bench, and this team isn't threat for the championship it seems like a good move to just move him and get a point producer at my flex spot. What do you think?
