Temple Univ. Virginia Tech Game, VT almost loses to Patsy

Postby CG482 » Tue Nov 18, 2003 10:23 pm

The Temple - VT game went into overtime and #12 VT barely pulled it out over unranked Temple. Temple is a perennial whipping boy in college football, but now second year QB Walter Washington is at the helm. He passed for over 150 yards and ran for another 150 yards from scrimmage. Three more years and McNabb and Vick and Culpepper may have to take a back seat as running QB's.

Tech wins the hard games and loses the easy games. That's just the way they do it in blacksburg. Not te mention they play way better at home then on the road.
Go Hokies ;-D
Who by the way got completely shafted by the BCS. :-t
