Should I make a move? WHIR!

Postby drnick5 » Sat Nov 07, 2009 5:33 pm

I have 2 teams im wondering if I should stick with or try to make a trade..

1st league is a 12 team auction keeper league, we start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2, WR, 2 Flex, 1 TE, 1K, 1 DEF
scoring si standard, plus 1 pt per reception
in this league defense scoring gives you -1 pt for every point against, -1 for every 10 yards allowed, all other defensive scoring is standard

QB; T. Romo, V. Young
RB: M. Jones-Drew, C. Benson, T. Hightower, R. Williams
WR: R. Wayne, D. Mason, S. Breaston, B. Berrian
TE: D. Clark, V. Shiancoe
K: S. Hauschkla
D: Eagles, Seahawks, Bengles (typically play whoever has best matchup due to defensive scoring in this league)

I'm currently 6-2 and will most likely make playoffs even if I lose every week. Should I look to upgrade anywhere?

2nd league is a Standard 12 team draft (I had the 8th pick) we start 1QB, 2WR, 2RB, 1 Flex, 1 TE, 1K, 1DEF
scoring is standard, 1pt per reception

QB: T. Brady, J. Flacco
RB: R. Rice, C. Benson, T. Hightower, J. Stewart, R. Mendenhall, D. Mcfadden (IR)
WR: R. Moss, R. White, D. Mason, B. Berrian
TE: D. Clark, V. Shiancoe (funny how I have the same to TE's in both leagues, lol)
K: L. Tines
D: Falcons (usually play matchups and pick up off the waiver wire)

I'm 7-1 with this team and 2 games up on the closest team, I canpretty much coast to the 1st round bye in the playoffs. thoughts on this team? upgrades or changes I should make?

also, what should I do with Mcfadden when he comes back and I'm forced to take im off IR, should I drop him or someone else on my team?

Thanks, will help anyone in return!

First off, thanks for the help on mine.

On your first team, Romo has been good of late, but he's not known for his consistency and I wonder how you did in the first few weeks with him. As of now hes a decent qb starter. As for RBs you're solid MJD, Benson, nuff said. As for WR, outside of wayne kinda iffy, but Breaston will be good as long as Boldin is hobbling around and Berrian is decent. As for the flex, you have great options in your remaining rbs and D. Clark, but I'm not sure how you're using your tes. Maybe try and package Williams and a wr/Shiancoe for a better wr2? I'm usually not against kickers, but there might be some better names on the list?

Team 2
QBs are bomb, love Brady, and you got quite a find in both your rbs this year, with solid backups. Good 2 Wr starters in Moss and White. As for the flex, great options, and good all around pretty much. I'd be scared to face this team 8-o As for McFadden I don't trust the raiders at all this year, so I wouldn't think twice about dropping him if you need to.

thanks for your help, I edited my [post (forgot to mention we start 1 TE in each league) so I have clark starting in both each week.

I think team 2 is pretty solid.. and with the other owners in that league, no one seems to be trading anyone (we finally had our first trade go down.... reggie wayne and caddilac williams for thomas jones and miles austin)

Team 1 im not so sure about.... thoughts anyone?
