Trading deadline near, should I make a move?

Postby dzsman » Mon Nov 09, 2009 8:00 pm

I am currently 6-3, but have lost 2 of the last 3. Am thinking a move is necessary if I want to go deep into playoffs.
Biggest culprit in recent losing streak, I beleive, is lack of a stud WR and picking the right QB from my triad.
Our league plays 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 K , 1 D/ST
.5 ppr
1 pt 20 yds rush/rec.
1 pt per 50 yds pass.
6 pts per rush.pass TD

QB - Roethlisberger, Schaub, Hass
RB- ADP, Barber, Slaton, C. Taylor
WR- G. Jennings, D. Jaskson, M. Sims-Walker, TJ Housh, Johhny Knox
K- Tynes, Gould
D/ST- Vikings, Cowboys

Would love to hear others opinions on if I should make a move, and for whom/whom might I give up in return.
Thanks in advance.

if there is one thing i have learned about fantasy football it is not to have 3 stud QBs and play matchups weekly. you have a solid QB with big ben to finish out the year and schaub is also a huge numbers guy. I would deal at least one of them as hasselbeck is a good enough quarterback to come in if whoever you choose to keep goes down. I've beat myself up countless times for starting a quarterback that had a favorable matchup and was outscored by the guy on my bench. i like to stick with a guy and ride out the season. if you want to improve WR, you have to deal ben or schaub. look at the upper bottom half of your league (the 4-5 teams) for a team that has QB issues. As the games gain more playoff implications, they will probably be willing to trade a top 10 WR for a QB.
