OP slot.... Forte @ SF or Edwards @ Tenn?

Postby stats79 » Tue Nov 10, 2009 12:36 pm

I got these following choices to fill my one OP slot, non-ppr:

Forte @ SF
Edwards @ Ten
Holmes vs Cin
Charles @ Oak
Stroughter @ Mia

Other option is to start Trent Edwards at QB over Freeman, and open up the OP slot for another guy?
and is Mike Sims-Walker a definite start @ NYJ over the above WR's?

Team is looking like this for the week:

QB: Freeman
RB: C Johnson
RB/WR: A. Peterson
WR: Driver, Sims-Walker
OP: Forte (?)
TE: D. Clark
D/ST: Saints
K: Stover

I would go with Forte, as long as the Bears keep throwing he'll be fine. He didnt have that many rushing yards but had a nice game overall.

WR: Driver, Sims-Walker
OP: Forte (?)
TE: D. Clark
D/ST: Saints

Are you only playing Freeman cuz Edwards hasnt been cleared yet? I'm not sure 1 game is a good indicator of fantasy production.

Not sure about MSW, I dont like his matchup, but I think Holmes is your other option and his matchup isnt great either, that being said, I still think I'd go with Holmes over MSW as MSW seems to be the only real WR threat on JAX where Holmes has a full compliment of WR's to draw coverage off him.

I'm playing Freeman because he did well and Trent hasn't, not to mention trent is hurt. Plus, though Tenn's pass D is near the bottom, if not THE bottom, Miami's is pretty bad too. If Trent gets cleared, I might go 2 qbs.

I don't think Forte does ANYTHING on Thurs night.

MSW has burned me everytime I've benched him. Sat him last week and it cost me the high score bonus for the week.

ugh, the more I read about it, the more I think benching both forte and msw are the right moves. revis could shut down msw and forte probably wont do jack on sf

holmes and edwards its looking like, though t.o. being out doesnt help
