HUGE TRADE HUGE NAMES!! MOSS,RICE,BREES,BENSON,OCHO & ADDAI

So I have made a few moves to allow my team to look like this....and need some advice on a potential trade. PPR 12 teamer.

QB ---Matt Ryan
RBs ---Ray Rice, Frank Gore, Joseph Addai, Jamaal Charles
Wrs---Randy Moss, Marques Colston, Mike Sims Walker, Nate Burleson, Laverneus Coles
TE---- Vernon Davis

I am very happy with my team, but feel like i am one upgrade away (QB) from a potential championship.
I have been offered a trade from a 7-2 team who is leading the leauge. I am currently at 5-4.

I have been offered Brees, Benson, And Ochocinco..........for.........Moss, Rice, Matt Ryan, and Addai.

His team looks like this right now.

QB--Brees
Rbs--pierre thomas, benson, hightower, moats and sproles
Wr.--Andre Johnson, Driver, Ochocinco, Ginn, and Austin Collie
TE --Jason Witten

I am leaning towards accepting it. Brees is a lock, and Benson and ocho still play oak cle and det (back to back to back btw) and kc week 16 if i get there. Although i hate to lose moss and ray rice in a ppr ...... anyone please advice here??????

I'd pull the trigger. Brees has a great looking schedule the rest of the way and cincy is legit. Being a PPR league makes it a slightly closer call than it would be otherwise, but I still like the deal for you.

I'd counter with Ryan, Addai and Sims-Walker (maybe Colston if he balks) for Brees and Moats and just hope my starting WRs or starting RBs don't get injured. At this point in the fantasy season, you sacrifice depth for starters and hope you avoid the injury bug.

I think, in a PPR league, while you may be improving your team, you're improving his by a bit too much. Rice, Andre Johnson and Randy Moss may well be 1-2 at their respective positions to end the year in PPR. He'd be loaded, even without Brees.

thats the one reason i havent accepted yet... This is the 1st place team and also my best friend.. im not looking for 2nd place here. wanna kick his ass. tryin to be careful not to improve him to much.

Wow, that is a blockbuster. I look at it like this:

Brees is a big upgrade over Ryan
Moss is slightly (but not a ton) ahead of 85
Rice over Benson, only because of ppr
Addai as the kicker.

The problem I see is, you get a big upgrade at QB, but take a hit at RB and WR. He takes a hit at QB, but upgrades hiw RBs and WRs. The question is, will the more points at QB overcome the RB and WR. My guess is, no. But I can see why you would pull the trigger.
