I have a trade in the works and one of the people I can get is a WR. I won't bore you with all the players, but I can pick one of these in the trade. Who would you go with? It's a partial PPR league (.5 per reception). I will play this person as my WR3.
Steve Smith (Panthers, great WR, lousy QB)) Steve Breaston (Pass happy offense, 3rd option if Boldin gets healthy) TJ Housh (been disappointing, but Seattle passes a ton)

12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green, TE: Hernandez, Cook
Steve Smith, as disappointing as he's been, has put up very similar stats to the other two. Of those 3 options, he's the one with the better chance to step up his game.
it's a tough choice, but I would have to go with Smith. Carolina is starting to play better and Smith is the featured WR there. Breaston and Housh, while good, and amid a mix of options.
ill rank what would be my choice from 1 - 3 1 being the best 3 the worse
1 Steve Breaston has a real easy schedule seattle, 2 games against the rams, tenneessee, and boldin being hurt helps.
2 TJ housh Its sad to see cause housh played for my hometown of cincinnati and now since he has left hes not been the same but for that reason you said seattle is a passing team its hard to pass on him.
3 Steve Smith teams seem to gameplan for steve smith and not deangelo williams thats why he seems to struggle this year. Its hard to pass on his name and potential for what numbers he can put up. and he has a tougher schedule then the others
i agree with steve smith, the other guys make some good points especially the one about the long receptions he's gotten lately. Housh has been unhappy lately and Breaston could disappear with Boldin's return. SMith will remain the go to guy.

TITCR. Not a great set of options, but Smith is the best of the bunch.
I have Breaston... he's not bad at all, you're right. But his upside is limited by having Boldin and Fitz in front of him. When Boldin is out, Breaston will likely pass 10 points. With Boldin in, Breaston is very likely to be in single digit points. Steve Smith, on the other hand, is only limited by his terrible QB... and with signs of improvement on that front, I would still say he's the better bet going forward, especially since Boldin is healthy for once (*fingers crossed*).
