Moss Trade - Does it Help or Hurt Me. WHIR

Postby vezi04 » Tue Nov 10, 2009 10:00 pm

My team is solid at the WR position but weak in RB position - the trade as is would be. I just want to get my team in the best position for the playoffs.
WHIR

I send - R. Moss, Kevin Smith and J. Carlson

I receive - Pierre Thomas, Calvin Johnson and Witten

My team as of now is

QB - Phillip Rivers, Matt Cassell
RB - K. Smith, Portis, Mendenhall, B. Wells
WR - Moss, V. Jackson, Lee Evans, Massaquoi
TE - Carlson, Zach Miller

His team -
QB - Warner
RB - Jacobs, Westbrook, Thomas, Felix Jones, Mike Bell
WR - C. Johnson, G. Jennings, D. Mason, Mike Wallace
TE - Witten, Pettigrew

This is a tough call. Moss is best player in this deal and not sure if Calvin is at full strength. Agree that upgrade at RB would help you, but I might check out other possibilities before parting with Moss. He and Brady have looked rather good in recent weeks.

Good luck.

Can you help with mine?

I love the PT cruiser but think Moss' value is more....I would almost take it out of desperation at RB but see if you can get Mr. Wallace from Pitt as part of the trade instead of witten...you can get a TE off waivers these days.
