Give up on Brandon Jacobs

Is anyone else out there thinking about giving up on Brandon Jacobs? I keep being convinced to hold onto him, and he keeps disappointing. Now he has a BYE, and then very few favorable match ups for the rest of the season (and the Giants have stalled). There are not a lot of good alternatives readily available in my league, but I'm thinking of grabbing Mike Bell back (had to drop to get a kicker with Tynes on BYE) and dropping Jacobs since Bell has a juicy match up this week. Thoughts? Opinions?

I agree with you that Jacobs has been a huge disappointment and shouldn't see a starting lineup unless something changes (either injury on your team or his play picks up-which I doubt will happen).

That said, Bell did not get that many touches last week (5). Even with matchup, I am not sure he that's much of an upgrade. He's definitely insurance should Thomas slow down/get hurt (which could happen again), but not sure I'd pick him up with thought that he could immed help my lineup.
