I am in a 3 way tie for 3rd place and have by far the 2nd lowest point total in the league (been really lucky with matchups so far). One of the teams I am tied with is the team I am trading with. Only top 4 make playoffs. Any advice appreciated!

Absolutely, Cedric Benson is one of the best if not the best RB in fantasy this year and Shockey isn't a bad replacement, also Slaton is starting to lose his carries.

I would do that. Big upgrade at RB. Davis has been great so far, but I would solidify my RBs first. Shockey is no slouch.
