Big trade, need advice...WHIR

Postby SameSongNDance » Wed Nov 11, 2009 12:24 pm

Okay so I recently lost O. Daniels in my 12 team league and have Zach Miller as his replacment. I was offered B.Jacobs and T. Gonzalez for K. Smith and Cotchery. I only start two wideouts they are usually Colston and Hester. My RB's are Dwills, K.Smith, Mendenhall, Charles and Mcfadden. The reason I want Jacobs over Smith is becuase Smith has some very tough match ups ahead while Jacobs as been picking up steam lately, averaging like 5 YPC in his last four games. What would you do? Stay put or upgrade at TE and what would seem to be RB? Thanks.

I would make that trade. You are fine at RB, and that's a nice upgrade at TE.

help?

12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring
QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,
TE: Hernandez, Cook

As it stands now, I would think that you'd be starting Dwills and Mendenhall every week. If you made the trade, you may or may not start Jacobs over one of those guys, depending on matchups. So, I think it's an upgrade in that department. You're already not starting Cotchery. Cotchery isn't all that productive this year anyway. Gonzalez is an upgrade at TE. I definitely think you come out ahead if you make the trade.
