week 10 Driver or Grant at Flex (WHIR)

Postby Hank's Scorpions » Wed Nov 11, 2009 12:27 pm

.1 point per yard
.5 points per reception (maxes at 5 points)
bonus point at 100/150/200 yards
6 points TD
bonus point if td is <35 yards another 1<50 yards and a another at <80 yards

-1 on fumbles

Both play against the Cowboys and I been hemming and hawing about which Pack to Back. The game will be on tv in my area and I love watching my players play live.. I'm too close to the source. I'm thinking that GB will get a big lead and then run the ball the rest of the game. The thing is will they get a big lead with some long bombs to Driver?

As a side note I could also play Pierre Thomas (but then I wouldn't have the fun of watching that game- and you never know about what he is going to do.

Leave a note and I will respond. Thanks in advance

the packers are playing the cowboys this week. the lions are playing minnesota.

that makes me think driver's a better pick. i would guess the yardage is pretty even between the two, and it's just a matter of who gets a TD.

but why is pierre thomas a bad pick? he's got a great matchup against the rams.

Thanks, tired I have Farve, so I still get messed up and think hes in the green and mustard. I edited my post. The reason why I wouldnt start Pierre is just a TV thing. Or am I being short sighted?

It is fun watching the game, but it is more fun to win.

Play Pierre Thomas.

He has a huge potential to go off this week. The team is all but guaranteed to be ahead late in this one, and he is getting the great majority of the carries.

Good luck. ;-D

You gotta think win over watching your players on TV.

Pierre has a great matchup, and the past couple of weeks he's emerged as the main back in NO. He's the most talented RB on that team, and it's starting to show. You gotta go with him.

Good luck!

EDIT: Saw your question on my post. I don't have a specific site that just lists stats like the ones you are looking for. I just happened to read the projections for my guys on my home FF site (espn) and it mentioned those facts. They don't always do that, so I can't recommend them as a consistent place to get that info. If you do happen to find a site like that I'd love to know about it!
Passing TDs = 4
All other TDs = 6
100 yd rushing bonus = 4
PPR
All other basic scoring

VERY strict rosters...MUST have:

2 QBs (start 1)
3 RBs (start 2)
4 WRs (start 2)
2 TEs (start 1)
2 D/STs (start 1)
2 Ks (start 1)
Flex--ANY offensive player

I'd play Thomas and go to a bar or restaraunt that has satellite. Thx on mine.

Even though watching your players is fun, neither come close to matching the potential amount of points Thomas could put up this week. Play Pierre Thomas.

At flex I'd always play and RB over a WR. This week I think Thomas is a better bet than Grant. I'd go with the Saint. Thanks for your help on mine.
