Slaton probably wont see your line-up....and check the Saints remaing schedule...other than NE it looks pretty easy. keep the Saints Def.

I'd skip it. Saints are more valuable as a matchup play and slaton is crap.

Help in return?

I'd do it for sure.

you have two good Def, so why waste a roster space anyway?

If you can get Slaton/Mason, that improves your depth.

Houston has a good schedule remaining, and there is a reasonable chance that Slaton takes back some of his role. He was actually starting to look very good before he got yanked for fumbling.

You don't really need Mason, but he is a very solid guy who is better than Breaston and L Evans...so that improves your bench.

Would you rather have depth at DEF or RB/WR?

By the way, get Miles Austin in your starting lineup! He is your 2nd best WR behind VJAX.

**Starts humming and then sings**

"You gotta know when to hold em'! Know when to Fold em'!"

LOL. Thought it fit the situation lol

Honestly I would keep the saints as a def. As far as projection goes over the next 4 games this is the breakdown:

NO DEF: 49 pts

Slayton: 35 pts

I just think NO will work out better for you over all. I don't really see Slaton being the true #1. The coach said this: . "I know you're tired of hearing it, but I'll watch them practice," coach Gary Kubiak told reporters. "I want to see how Steve responds and comes back from this break. I want to see how Ryan responds and Chris (Brown) being as fresh as he can be. It'll be a day-to-day deal for me."

He is pitting them against each other and they might respond, but what it comes down to is that if they falter during a game (and they will) the coach is probably going to pull them for a few or even the game. Both have issues with fumbles and you can bank that in their next games you are going to see some slippery hands.

i guess my reason of worring is if one of my rb's go down (D williams scared me this week..) then all i have to fall back on is beanie wells who is on a team who throws the ball alot. i dont consider beanie wells as a good startin rb for fantasy..

That's insane anyone would tell you not to accept this trade. It's a defense that looks bad without Sharper. It's a defense, you can pick up a new one every week t=off waivers and probably do just as well. Slaton can be a borderline stud for you down the stretch even if he's splitting carries he's still more valuable than any defense in the league. Please take this trade immediately unless you have some crazy rules that gives defenses tons of points.
