benson is also on my team and he is a tricky back to own. the first weeks i didnt want to start him and he did excellent, then i started him against the pack and he was virtually useless, so i benched him agains a solid pitt d and he put up decent numbers still. so i started him against cleveland and he underperformed again. so i benched him against baltimore and he lit them up. after that i learned to simply start him every week regardless of matchup. he's in the mvp race imo. start him and mojodrew. tough to bench SJax but he is playing the best team in the NFC and they are no slouch on defense this year. MJD and Cedric for me.
as for WR, (this is gonna sound weird) bench 85. the golden rule of fantasy football is to start skill positions playing the Detroit Lions. Favre, despite an alleged groin injury, is on a 5th decade tear right now. he will find every receiver on the field and rice will get 6-8 receptions and has a good chance of finding the endzone. brandon marshall has a good matchup against the simply awful redskins so he has to start. its a tough call, but ochocinco has the least favorable matchup against a pass D that just came off a game where they intercepted kyle orton 3 times, a quarterback who had previously thrown only 1 in the last 7 games. just some numbers to think about.
