I love that two different Pac-10 teams blasted SC this season. And the Trojans still have to play Arizona...they could finish with 4 conference losses.

Man the Ducks set some records a couple weeks ago against SC that I think Stanford may have broken today. :-[ :-b

I'll admit Notre Dame had me sweatin' a bit, but Pitt pulled it out in the end. Greg Romeus is a stud. ;-D

Oregon is totally rolling Arizona St. at halftime.

This was probably the case already, but Clausen's Heisman campaign is completely shot at this point, right?

Yeah absolutely. His team is 6-4 with no really impressive wins. If he could have pulled out a victory over either SC or Pitt I could see him still being in the mix. It's an individual award but it still depends greatly on your teams performance.

I think team performance matters more for QBs than RBs. Someone who rushes for dominant numbers can still have a chance if his team is mediocre, although not bad (see: McFadden, Darren) but a QB can't win if his team has more than two losses.
"I can't say that. I'd have to say having Ryan Leaf quarterback us to a 1-15 record is probably the biggest challenge."

Rodney Harrison, on whether losing Tom Brady to injury was the greatest challenge he has faced in football.
