Desprate for help

Postby Mc_Dug » Sat Nov 14, 2009 5:07 pm

I'm currently in 1st place and I really need this week to stay there. I need help deciding between J. Cotchery and M. Wallace for my 3rd WR spot. Our league scoring is no PPR 6 points for TD's and 1 point per 10 recieving yards.

M. Wallace has been on a tear lately and had a big game the last time the Steelers played the Bengals, but Cotchery is healthy again playing against a weak Jacksonville Def. My worry with Cotchery is the Jets will run the ball all day.

Thoughts?

I say Wallace. He's getting the targers and I think the Steelers will need that against the Bengals.

I actually like Cotchery a lot. He's the Jet's WR1, finally healthy, and having Braylon Edwards along may actually open things up for him. He was putting up good numbers before his hamstring problem, and has good chemistry with Sanchez. He's also got a fantastic matchup. Jacksonville is giving up the 2nd most points to fantasy WRs in the NFL. And if you take away the letdown game where Chris Johnson went off for a billion yards, Jacksonville is actually an elite run defense. Last time I ran the numbers they were ranked 6th vs the run minus the CJ performance. They held the Chiefs to under 50 rushing yards as well last week.

Good luck.
