I have Brandon Jacobs on a bye this week. My two other choices are:

Ladell Betts vs Denver (has a ankle injury but will start)
Chester Taylor vs Detroit

Wow that is an interesting choice. I would go with Taylor though. Betts is a crapshoot this week and I think Taylor has a much better matchup.

Betts gets the start with Portis out. Taylor is only worth the start if AP goes down... I would go with Betts

betts. they will rotate the backs with rock as the main worry. if rock does well in the beginning, it will not be a good day for a gimpy betts. but rock has been there for quite some time and there is a reason why he hasnt moved up the chart. in any case, betts upside is better than taylor who doesnt get much action unless peterson goes down. in the meeting they had earlier this year (and the 2 last year) he didnt post good numbers.

I'd go with Betts this week as he will get all the WAS carries. He has a better chance at a TD than Taylor.

Touches lead towards Betts being the better choice. Only other possibility is that Minnie blows out Detroit and Chester sees more touches in backup duty? The safe bet is Betts.
