The Miami Dophins and the Kansas City Chiefs played the second of two Divisional Round Playoff games that were scheduled as a Christmas Day doubleheader on Dec. 25, 1971.

After the game ended up setting the record for the longest NFL game ever, momma's from around the country wrote nasty letters to the league complaining about NFL Football on Christmas interfering with Christmas dinner, and the league didn't schedule another one for 17 years.
