Trade P.Thomas for R.Brown??? WHIR

Postby jaykla » Wed Nov 18, 2009 2:21 am

Do I trade P.Thomas to obtain Ronnie Brown?

I'm currently 7-3 and in a 3 way tie for 1st place. My other RB's are Hightower, B.Wells, Fargas, L.Johnson, so I think I can get by as long as Brown is only out a week or two. We get 1/2 point per reception.

Our trade deadline is tomorrow at midnight.

My current roster:
Brees (Orton)
P.Thomas, Hightower (B.Wells, Fargas, L.Johnson, M.Bell)
Fitz, Colston, Jennings (Coles)
J.Carlson
Tynes

risky as it doesnt look good for brown. a high ankle sprain will take about 2 weeks, maybe 3. but right now seems like it may be more than a sprain. plus your other guys cant really carry the load if brown is out for multiple games. you got one spot locked up in wells/hightower. but the other will suck unless brown is healthy. LJ wont play much for a while and who knows what you get with him. fargas at best will be a part of a committee with bush and mcfadden. bell is a part of a committee already and bush seems to being playing better...and stealing some goal line work.

if you tend to be lucky, pull the trigger.
