Must Win Week. Pick 2 RBs. 100% WHIR.

Postby jhurstjunior » Wed Nov 18, 2009 10:38 am

I need to start 2 RBs. I am in a standard scoring 10 team yahoo league. I am fighting for one of the coveted bye weeks in the playoffs currently sitting in 3rd and I need a big win this week as I am going up against the 2nd place team. I lost Ronnie Brown last week and that is going to hurt my team. My team is below the ones in bold is who I am starting.

QB: Rivers, Favre
RBs: R. Brown, Moreno, Addai, J. Charles. L. McCoy, J. Snelling
WRs: A. Johnson, Fitzgerald, Sims-Walker, Nate Burleson
TE: V. Shiancoe
K: Nick Folk
DEF: Arizona
IDP: Eric Weddle

The question remains as to who I start for my remaining RB?

Moreno SD
McCoy @ CHI
Snelling @ NYG

Also options on the waivers:

Carnell Williams NO
L. Betts @ DAL
Forsett @ MIN
Wells @ STL

Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you leave a link I will help you out as well.

I like McCoy since it doesn't sound like Westbrook is coming back and the Bears D isn't all that scary anymore. I can see Philly jumping out to a lead and running the ball more.

McCoy all the way. Andy Reid is going to give this kid the Brian Westbrook red-carpet-redzone treatment!!! Moreno would be my other choice.

Thanks for hitting mine! ;-D

I would start Addai and Wells. Addai is about as consistent as it gets in putting up fantasy points. Wells will get most of the carries for the Cards, who should get an early lead against a bad Rams team, allowing them to run the ball often. I would pick up Wells, even if you don't start him this week, as the Cardinals have favorable match-ups in weeks 15 and 16. (Fantasy playoffs)

i think you should grab Beanie regardless and probably use him...otherwise i think you have to go McCoy....maybe Snelling if it ends up that Norwood is still to injured to be full participant.

Thx for the advice

I would go Addai & McCoy, no doubt. Moreno has a nice matchup but I hate that whole situation. Addai will have a TD.

Addai has been consistent ... and Donald Brown doesn't appear to much of a threat. Even though he isn't likely to top 100yds, he'll find the endzone (though, the Ravens are penetrable ... I'm sure the Colts will be watching footage of the Bengals running all over them)

McCoy and Moreno is nearly a coin flip for me. I would give the edge to McCoy as he has added value as a viable receiver in the Eagle's game plan. I know that Buckhalter has had some issues with ball protection as of late, and Josh McDaniels tends to hold grudges ... but I still don't trust that situation.

I would drop Snelling for Wells. Norwood should be back soon. ALSO - since you're thinking playoffs, Arizona has one of the easiest schedules going into the final weeks (StL, Tenn, Minn (not as easy), SF, Det, StL, GB).

Thanks for help with mine ;-D : ((WHIR 100% for anyone else looking! http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=461417

I think Addai and McCoy is a pretty good combo this week.
