Hey guys, I'm in serious need of help at QB in my league - I've been platooning Palmer and Ryan, and a guy in my league offered me Roethlisberger for SRice straight up. My other WRs are Welker and AJ, and I will be grabbing Roy Williams off waivers with my #1 priority (best guy left). Should I pull the trigger? Thanks in advance and WHIR as always!
12-team league using team QBs and .25 PPR (standard scoring otherwise). Start - QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, K, D/ST, OT.
My starters: QB - Bengals (Palmer) RB - R.Rice, Forte WR - AJ, Welker TE - Gonzalez K - Feely D/ST - Bengals Overtime - Falcons (Ryan)
I would do it and sell high on Rice. He may very well keep up what he has been doing but there are other great options to catch the ball in Minny and Favre will throw it to anybody on any given day. Roethlisberger has been great and will continue to be, despite last week's game. Use your WW priority and get Roy, perhaps the rise of Austin will get him working harder and actually BE the #1 WR in Dallas, just like he tells people he is.
Thanks for the help on mine and I would also do that. You still have solid WRs.
12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green, TE: Hernandez, Cook
I would do it because it is that point in the season where you make it or break it! I think you leave yourself thin at WR but for a higher option it is worth it.
I agree with selling high ... and Big Ben is actually putting together a nice year. He has a favorable schedule throughout the remainder of the season: 11 @KC 12 @Bal 13 Oak 14 @Cle 15 GB 16 Bal 17 @Mia
and SRice's value rests on Favre staying healthy. I'd go with the sure thing. You seem like you're sitting well with WRs. And I'm sure there will be nice waiver gems in the rough for you to feast one (Chris Chambers, perhaps?)
