Big Ben & Wells for Deangelo--WHIR

Postby issaquah stud » Thu Nov 19, 2009 10:38 am

I have a "tentative" offer from somebody that is 1 game behind me for our wild card.

Big Ben and Beanie Wells for Deangelo Williams

Here's my Roster:
Starting:
QB: Schaub
RB: MJD/MBIII or Beanie
WR: Megatron/Cotchery
TE: VDavis
K/DEF: always changes
Bench:
QB: Big Ben/Bulger
RB: FelixJones/RJennings
WR: AGonz/ACollie/LEvans/Meachem
TE: V.Davis

His Roster:
QB: Flacco
RB: Deangelo/Slaton/Buckhalter/Bernard Scott
WR: Wayne/Bowe/T.O./A.Bryant
TE: Celek

YOu'd think it was obvious but Wells has CAKE matchups and Big Ben is insurance for injury prone Schaub...DO I DO IT??

I ALWAYS REPLY WHEN HELPED.

I would take it. DeAngelo is an explosive back. I still don't see Big Ben as a great fantasy QB. If something happens to Schaub, you can pick up some other avg QB but DeAngelo will compensate for your QB. So take it!

Thanks for the help but now do I try to play it "perfectly" and wait until after this week?

Big Ben is playing Kansas City
beanis is play St. Louis
Both great match ups

Deangel is playing Miami w/a "questionable" injury status...

i really want the guy offering me the trade to lose so I can gain some ground on him in the wild card standings.

Is it to risky to wait?

Kansas City has a bad run D so Mendenhall should have a great game. I would never sit Schaub for Big Ben.
Beanie only played 1 or 2 good games so far. You're getting a proven, clear #1 RB. I would definitely take it. So don't hesitate a bit.

Deangelo has a tough schedule ahead, but I would still def do it.

No need to keep depth on your bench since all the bye's are over. You maximize your starting roster with this move. Deangelo is a big upgrade for you at RB.

Can you help with mine?

i would do this. you are significantly upgrading your RB spot and solidifying scoring going into plaoff weeks. Big ben has been sliding some and Wells has Min and GB still to play, wiht GB at the very end, where it may matter most.

help?

In a heartbeat. When are you ever going to play Ben over Matt, and you're getting a huge upgrade in Williams over Wells.
