With Bowe out 4 weeks, his owner in my league is looking to trade so he can still hope to make the playoffs. I'm stacked at young RBs, so he came to me. I can trade either Wells or Mendenhall for Bowe, and either Suggs or Cole (DL) or a 2nd round rookie pick next year. I could use another WR, but I don't know if I need one this bad. We start 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE, K, IDP. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm at 7-3 right now, and going to make the playoffs, which way would be better once Bowe is back?
Rodgers, A Smith, Hass, Vick Rice, Moreno, Mendenhall, Wells, J Charles, B Scott R White, B Marshall, Crabtree, L Evans, A Bryant, Cribbs, Garcon, Mike Thomas V Davis, Keller, Z Miller Folk, Tynes Mathis, Kampman (can start at DL), William Hayes Beason, Briggs, Durant, Tatupu (on IR) Harper, Tanard Jackson, Mikell, Adrian Wilson, C Griffin
Anyone? I think this would balance my RBs with my WRs, but since I only have to start 2 WRs each week, I kinda like having 4 RB studs and I pick the best 3 matchups. Oh, and it's pretty much half a point per reception (we get bonuses at 5, 8, and 10 catches per game).
As our league is always talking amongst each other, another owner got wind of this offer, and has offered me up Vincent Jackson for either Wells or Mendenhall. Which way should I go, if either? Thanks so much!
If I had a choice I would go with Wells for Jackson here. Jackson will have more upside over the next few years. And I truly think Wells success is tied to Warner being there. When Leinart steps in his value will take a severe hit as def can stack up against the run.
Yeah, I think I'm over Bowe, but I just hate giving up young stud RBs. Wells is the future, there, right? I know that V Jax is a stud as well, but I've got White and Marshall and the up-and-coming Crabtree already. Anyone else have an opinion on it? I really like having the "monopoly" on sub-25 starting RBs in the NFL (Rice, Moreno, Mendenhall, Wells and Charles).
