Same Flex Issue Different Week (WHIR)

Postby Hank's Scorpions » Thu Nov 19, 2009 12:28 pm

.1 point per yard
.5 points per reception (maxes at 5 points)
bonus point at 100/150/200 yards
6 points TD
bonus point if td is <35 yards another 1<50 yards and a another at <80 yards

-1 on fumbles

Pick One
Driver vs Niners
Grant vs Niners
P.Thomas Vs Tampa Bay

It may look easy, but think about it.

Tampa is rank 31st against the Run and 5 players have scoresd over a 100 against them and only 2 starters failed to get 50 yards. PT had a bad weak last week, but has a chance to explode on a week Rush D Line (If PT get the ball)

49's are rank 3rd against the rush Only 1 player has rushed over 100 (CJohnson) and have held 3 player to less then 50 yards. The Niners are tough, but Grant is the only RB on the team.

My Opponent has Rodgers and I could steal some points from him, if Greenbay is forced to throw more because of the Niners Rush D.

So do I take the Lone back against the Tough Rush D, A RB in a RBBC against the worst Rush D
or do I just stick with Driver and steal QB points?

I always help those that help me. Please this is a must win game, if I'm to make the play-offs

I have PT also and Im looking for a bounce back game from him this week & I think he is your best option out of the guys you have. But with the ppr & bonus points I could see playing Driver but I would stick with PT

I think you go with PT. I think he is going to have a huge yardage game, and tack on a TD!!!

I would take advantage of the defensive match up and start P. Thomas. He is the Saints main RB and I think he will have a huge game.

It's interesting what you are saying about trying to cancel points but I think P. Thomas can cover those points and more.

I kinda like Driver here, esp with your opponent having Rodgers. Thomas and Grant both have the possibility of putting up duds. Thomas is a victim of having too good a team around him and Grant, well, isn't likely to have a huge yardage game and probably won't even get too many RZ calls considering the Niners run-stopping ability. I'd say they're just as likely to go to Driver in a goal-line situation as Grant. It's definitely a tough call, though...

I hate to deviate from the general consensus but I'm gonna have to go with Grant. Solely because the Niner's defense is either on or off... and in a big way. If Greenbay gets ahead in the first half, Grant will have a good game and niners give up big runs. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help on mine

I would rank your options as PT, then Driver, then Grant. It's tough not to start PT vs. TB. However, Driver has been lights out this year, and Cutler did throw over 300 yds.

Yeah, you gotta got with PT. That match up vs TB is just too good to pass up. Plus, I saw that Bush missed practice today due to some swelling in his knee.

I said I would help with yours. Thanks for the help with mine.

You have valid points but I think you have to go with the option that you think will give you the most points and I believe that option is PT. I have a feeling he is going to have a fantastic day.
