I'm having a hard time deciding on this one. There's no question that I'm starting Gore this week, but my No 2 RB is up in the air. I snagged Betts off the WW, and if there where one time to start him, it's probably NOW. He's put up 15 and 17 pts. My other two options are Pierre Thomas and Kevin Smith.
PT seems to rise and fall too much, and he's going to lose carries to Bush and Bell. Bell concerns me much more then Bush. This year he's scored 24, 18,7,4,19,14,3. Maybe he's do for another solid double digit day, maybe he's going to get another dud. That being said I'm intrigued by the yearly Betts explosion before he goes back into hiding.
Then there's Kevin Smith. He hasn't been putting up many points this year, but he's playing another COMPLETELY inept football team.
I too would roll with K-Smith. The Browns are horrible as we all know, and on the road it will be that much more uglier for them. I say 120 total yds for Smith, and a TD on screen pass from Stafford.

i think the best start this week is Kevin Smith. i really like Thomas but NO is so unpredictable. the two are really close in what i would call a coin toss so you will not go wrong with either. you never know when NO is going after the *balanced attack.* this could well be the week making Thomas a great play? but i would start Smith against Cleveland, so inept, i think. i don't see Betts running against Dallas. my two cents. good luck.
