Turner Owner Needing More Advice WHIR

Postby Hoosierdad » Thu Nov 19, 2009 4:09 pm

I play in a standard scoring with .5 ppr and we play 2 QBs. I have Turner. I've been holding out on trades for him, even though a couple have been good. Here's my team

QBs: Schaub, Cutler, Smith
RBs: Rice, Turner, Betts, Fargas, Norwood (Snelling was taken)
WRs: Wayne, Steve Smith (Panthers), Breaston, Evans

I have 2 offers outstanding

1)Mendenhall/White/Hester for Alex Smith//Turner/Wayne/Evans.

2) ADP/Jennings for Turner/Wayne

Pull the trigger on either or hope Turner comes back? I'm in 2nd place right now, one game ahead of 3rd and 4th. Four teams make the playoffs.

12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring
QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,
TE: Hernandez, Cook

I would pull the trigger on the second offer (ADP/Jennings for Turner/Wayne). I think that Jennings will continue to pick it up; Green Bay has a favorable schedule for the remainder of the season .. and ADP is money.

Wayne has got to be hard to let go of ... but I think it's an even trade. Turner will miss at least a week - and his productivity will likely be stymied for another couple of starts.

I'd go with the second trade, its a high ankle sprain so it might linger, and like the guy ahead of me, i think jennings will pick it up with a favorable schedual, plus your getting the best player in the league.....thanks for helping with mine.

Thanks for the help

I would go with the second deal as well. ADP is a significant upgrade in light of the news on Turner. Jennings has a soft schedule and is picking it up to some extent, so I think it's worth it.

This is all dependent on the Tuner injury though. If it is a multi week injury this trade becomes more benefitial (obviously), if it is only a one week thing and you can spot play this week I would be inclined to hold and not do a deal.

But between the two deals, take the second.
