RB Trades, Need help quick WHIR

Postby EricGordon23 » Thu Nov 19, 2009 5:09 pm

Lost Ronnie for the year so my team is hurting at RB. I've been proposed two offers. Should I take either of these or stay put??
Are there any other trades I could offer to help my team??
Trade 1: My Randy Moss for his Thomas Jones
Trade 2: My Fitzgerald for his Cedric Benson and Santana Moss

My Team:

QB: Rodgers
WR: Fitz, R. Moss, Driver
RB: R.Brown, Lynch
TE: Celek
W/R: Cadillac
Q/W/R/T: Flacco
Bench: Forsett, Betts, L.Evans, N. Burleson

I personally wouldn't do either trade as is, maybe if you could get a second tier WR along with Thomas Jones for Moss I would do that but I feel like you are giving up too much for what your getting. As is you can start Forsett/Williams along with Lynch and put Evans who has looked good lately at your flex. I just think that the people who proposed those are trying to take advantage of you losing Ronnie and hope your desperate.

I would not take any of those trades either. I would ask for a better back for Moss or Fitz.

I agree with this... but I also say that you need to do something at RB. You have guys I would rank as RB3s in Lynch and Betts. Forsett, outside of last week, is unproven.

I would maybe entertain Moss for T. Jones and a 2nd tier WR.

I Like Jones, so if that guy has a second tier WR to go with it, I would do that. Or, you can wait and see how Forsett does. Betts is fine as long as Portis is out. But the skins have already said Portis will be the starter when he's back, whenever that is. The thing is, you have OK WRs, so it may have to be Moss for Jones straight up if you don't feel good about your RBs. You can put Burleson in there. Last game had to be a fluke for him.

12 Team League. We start 2 QBs and get .5 PPR, otherwise standard scoring
QBs: Stafford, Fitzpatrick, Collins
RBs: Charles, Mendenhall, Best, Starks, Carter, Karim
WRs: D. Jackson, Marshall, S. Smith, Green,
TE: Hernandez, Cook

This is a tough call. I would ask for more than just Thomas for Moss. I definitely do NOT like the second option.

Please help with my question

If you can only start 2 RBs and have no flex, I'd stay put and work the waiver wire for the inevitable late season fill in guys for the coming RB injuries.

Look for the guys that are one big HIT away from getting significant carries. Guys like Larry Johnson, Shonn Greene, Adrian Peterson (CHI), etc to add some RB depth instead rather than dealing away a starting WR.
