Must win this week and a tough choice to make at WR WHIR

Postby Bulard280 » Thu Nov 19, 2009 5:42 pm

Hey guys so I am sitting at 5-5 currently and am in 7th place of a 12 team league with the top 6 making the playoffs. I have no idea who I should start at WR this week obviously I am starting Brandon Marshall but I don't know who else:

Pick 2:
Donnie Avery Vs. Cardinals- Probably going to throw a lot and is the number 1 guy there
TO vs Jags- I don't really trust the Bills but new coach may throw more
Kevin Walter vs Titans- Horrible pass defense and looked better last game without Daniels there.
Mike Wallace vs Chiefs- I think the Steelers will go up big and stop throwing the ball so while he could beat the secondary I don't know that they will throw enough for him too.

Leave a link and I will help you in return.

I agree... go with Walters. With Owen Daniels not playing, he's going to get more looks. He played good in week 9 and they are coming off of a BYE.

I'd say go with Walter and Avery. Walter seems like a gamble but vs. Tenn it might be worth it. I have had T.0. on a keeper league for years and I'd trade him for a half a can of warm PBR right now if someone offered. Don't believe that a new coach can save him from the desolation he's in.

Help with mine?

Thanks for the help with mine.

Out of that bunch I pick Avery and Walter, who are going up against the league's #30 and #31 pass defenses.

TO and Wallace are also going up against some mediocre pass Ds, but TO is a huge ? especially with the new coaching situation. He could go off, or do nothing. I would not start wallace until he's shown a good game.

I like Avery and Walters.

Avery should have a good chance at putting up at least a TD, and decent yardage.

I like Walters moving forward, and on paper this matchup looks good. However, be warned, TEN pass D is not the same pass D that was ranked last in the league for the first 6 weeks of the season. Totally different. However, HOU will throw, throw, and throw some more. Walter should have a decent game.

I can't trust T.O. and I think Wallace's chances will be limited with PIT is up 21-0 by half.

Avery would be my first pick. Going against the Card's who look like they're hitting their stride they may be prone to a more aerial attack, thereby giving him more looks.

Second choice would be walters.

Walter and Avery are the safest, and probably the best but do not be suprised if TO goes off against that JAG pass D, it is just that you cannot trust him yet.
