So my mother has an Epson CX6400 and needs to refill the ink, what is the cheapest way to do this, and where to buy it?
I have bought compatible carts before, seems to work out but it takes 1 week shipping to get here. What about refilling myself, never tried it so not sure.

Haha, totally.
I was gonna add, and this actually ties into the "Cheap Ink" title, that if you want to get a tattoo that big you could probably find someone to do it for very cheap. A lot of times artists will do big full back pieces for cheap because it adds to their portfolio so to speak.
Yeh, I know this dude about 30 miles from me that did a sun on the back of some chics neck fro free just for the advertisement. She has a buzzed head and man, you should see that tat, unreal!
Since I have no tats yet, I might just start with a simple arm one, something like a Ricky Williams portrait or something, lol.

I stopped buying inkjet printers for this very reason. Ink is expensive, I don't use a printer at home very much, the cartidges gum up, money wasted.
i was going to try them but instead just bought a new black+color combo pack from Best Buy for $50
