Please help me make a good trade offer for a RB WHIR!

Postby popew626 » Fri Nov 20, 2009 12:31 pm

12 teams, non-PPR league, .1 ppy. Playoffs are 8 team, weeks 14-16

I'm in 3rd place at 6-4 and the team I'm targeting is at 10th place at 3-7.

My roster:

QB: Rodgers
RB: LT, McCoy, Charles, Bernard Scott, JLewis
WR: Moss, DJax, Harvin, Nicks, Chambers
TE: VDavis
K: Bironas
DEF: Minnesota

Team I'm targeting:

QB: Rivers, Hasselbeck
WR: White, Mason
RB: Rice, SJax, Mendenhall, Hightower, Sproles
TE: Scheffer, Fred Davis
K: Folk
DEF: SF, Bengals

My RB's are awful so I'm thinking of packaging Moss or Djax with McCoy or Charles for either Rice or SJax. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the help on mine!

I wouldnt trade McCoy. West is likely done...i have heard he is suffering shakes as a result of his 2nd concussion. McCoy is now a must start. The guy looks weak at WR, if i were you i would target mendenhall, or maybe package LT and VJax for Rice and Mason. Something along those lines, you have depth at WR, he has depth at RB, trade from strength to upgrade a weakness. You may be able to get Mendenhall rather cheap.

Thanks for your help...

I think both of your top-2 RBs are going to start picking up their game, but I still see SJax, Rice, or even Mendy as a good pickup.

If you target SJax or Rice, I'd think you might have to offer Moss with one of your RBs. If you want Mendy you might be able to only give up DJax. I could see McCoy/Moss for Rice/Mason, or LT/DJax for SJax/Mason.

There might even be an outside shot at a McCoy/Moss for Mendy/White. I'd be happy with that deal as well.

Good luck!

Wow he's got solid QBs, great RBs, but no WR depth. He should be better than what he is. its a shame. He's only going slant WR b/c of some matchups here in the stretch run. He will probably cut the excess bait for WR depth when needed.

I would offer Djax and Charles and see if you can land Mendenhall. He's got great matchups the rest of the way. And in a keeper he's money.
