Huge trade offered to me. Should I do it?

I was just offered AP & Calvin Johnson for Sidney Rice, Brandon Marshall & Brandon Jacobs. My WR's are currently Fitz, Desean Jackson, Rice, Marshall & Kelley Washington. My RB's are Jacobs, Forsett, Benson, Snelling & Choice. I play in a 3WR, 2RB, 1WR/TE/RB league. What should I do? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Starting roster with no trade:
RB Jacobs
RB Benson
WR Fitz
WR DeSean
WR Rice
flex: Snelling (as long as Turner is out) then Marshall/Forsett

After the trade:
RB AP
RB Benson
WR Fitz
WR DeSean
WR Calvin
flex: Snelling/Forsett/Washington OR waiver wire WR.

If you were a little bit deeper at WR I would bless this trade wholeheartedly. Your RBs improve immensely, while you somewhat weaken a great starting trio of WRs.

But I have concerns about the Stafford injury and how it relates to Calvin's production... CJ is kind of banged up right now too. If he and/or Stafford are out for more than a few weeks, I think you lose on this trade as you don't have a lot of depth at WR. I really think Calvin is the key to this trade working out for you.

Yup, this trade depends on Calvin. Last year, CJ caught 80 balls for 1330 yards and 12 TD's with nubs throwing to him. It really doesn't matter who's throwing him the ball IMO. His latest injury was him just re-aggravating his knee. If the game were on Sunday and not Thursday, I'm 100% positive he would be playing. DET was not at all concerned with Megatron and much more so with Stafford. I'd pull the trigger.

Sure there's some risk here, but this is a huge upgrade at RB! If you had AP plus Bensons as your playoff RBs, you've got to like your chances. You still have Fitz/DeSean at WR - that's solid. I'd play Snelling at FLEX until Turner returns. I think this is a big upgrade to your team, with Calvin's upside - the downside is that you might be a tad weaker at WR3? That's a risk I think is worth taking!

Your WRs are not downgraded, huge upgrade at RB. Go for it.

I agree...pull the trigger! Very nice upgrade to RB and if Megatron does not go you could pull a WR off the wire to fit in this week.....Chambers or the like. Good luck!
