Ryan Grant or Ray Rice? WHIR

Postby T Rooks » Thu Nov 26, 2009 11:14 am

I am in a two running back league. I have Maurice-Jones Drew, Ray Rice, and Ryan Grant. I figure MJD for sure, but with Rice going against the Steelers...should I be going with Grant?

Thanks for the help!

I would go with Grant today. Detroit is awful on D. I play in a league with .5 PPR and Grant has scored about the same as Rice the last 3 weeks. Is averaging about 2.5 points less per game for the year. I don't usually bench Rice, but today is the day.

GB should get up early over Detroit. Grant will get plenty of touches and torch Detroit D. Rice going up against the #1 D in football. The matchup difference is just too great.

Start Grant with confidence.

good luck

Same old line about the Leo's; BE CAREFUL. They'll be playing on emotion after a big win Sunday. And don't dismiss that they're at home, in the spotlight, and ready to step up for a Matthew Stafford who's playing hurt. I say the Lions keep it close and maybe even have a shot at winning. That being said, I still think that Grant is a solid start...just don't expect a ridiculous day.
