QB strategy, WHIR 100%

Postby saemick » Fri Nov 27, 2009 11:50 pm

Trying to do a little strategery here. I DON'T need a QB, but the guy I'm playing against only has Big Ben...and he might not even play. That being said, should I drop one of my players to pick up Vince Young/ Cassel so that I can block the guy I'm playing against from getting either?

Below is my roster:

QB: Warner, Freeman
RB: Turner, Moreno, Donald Brown, Forsett, Shonn Greene, DMC, Snelling
WR: R. White, Marshall, Harvin, Nicks, Avery, TO
TE: Olsen
K: Kaeding
D: GB
Scoring: 10yds rush/rec = 1pt, 25yds pass = 1pt, TD = 6pts, fumble/int. = -2pts

I'd consider dropping McFadden, but can't b/c he's already played, so was thinking about dropping Avery.

thoughts?

If your league has a waiver period after the guys have been dropped why don't you just drop Freeman for Young then drop Young for Cassel? Snake move, yes but it certainly would work. If it doesn't then I actually wouldn't even bother cause if you guess wrong you'd be frustrated that you dropped someone of value.

I'd drop Freeman for Cassell anyways.

The only reason I'm holding onto Freeman is because I could potentially keep him next year, whereas both Avery & Cassel cannot be kept. does that change anything?
