I think Forsett has probably earned the job but they say if Jones is healthy (he practiced very little this week) he will start. Jones had his best week of the season against STL but “C’mon Man”; don’t most RBs have their best game of the season against STL? If Jones starts and has success early in the game, and why shouldn’t he, will they stick with him a bit more?? Even if Jones gets the “start” Forsett will see some action.
The Chiefs (27th) suck just slightly less than STL (28th) against the run so no real advantage there. If you look at throwing to your RBs then STL (24th) sucks a little less than KC (28th). Not much of an advantage to hang your hat on here either. STL is at home and KC has to travel. SD has something to play for and the SEA at 3-7, not so much.
Since LT learned he was going to be a Daddy he has scored in every game. Clearly he is not the LT of old but KC is not going to recreate the Steel Curtain by game time tomorrow. I think LT will have some success and find the end zone for the 3rd week in a row.
Without a starting commitment to Forsett, I’m gonna be saddling up LT at home.
Drop Winslow for Finley? Really? Really??
I give you points for being willing to think outside the box but I can’t show you any love for Finley over Winslow. Finley is but one in a cast of many and his next 4 games are BAL, CHI, PIT & SEA. Winslow is a star pupil in a very small class. Other than Winslow who does TB have? Step away from the ledge and stick with Winslow.
If you get a moment please take a look at my situation at the link below.
