I'll play devil's advocate here and say Forsett. Thomas is good for 12-15 solid points, but very unlikely to get much more than that. Forsett has an awesome matchup, and I think his upside is higher. His downside is only marginally less than Thomas', IMO--I see his floor around 10 points--and I think his upside is 20 or so. He's a bigger player in the passing game than Thomas (if your league is PPR this helps even more), won't be splitting carries to the degree that Thomas will, and the Rams' D is just atrocious. This is all a moot point if JJ plays, though, because then I see Forsett getting less touches than Thomas.

I gotta say Forsett here as well. If JJ sits, theres no way hes gonna get less than 100 YFS. The Rams defence is horrrrible, especially lately.
You know if they are on the goal line that Forsett is gonna get the carries, and did well on the goal line last week vs a much better front 7.

PT could have a great game but I don't see him doing as well. The Patriots are going to come out hard and do not want anyone else going 16-0. PT has lost goal line carries to TWO rushers, Bell and Bush.

I would definitely play PT over Forsett.

Plus, I heard JJ was going to play anyway. Play the Monday nighter, and enjoy the show!!

Not to confuse the issue further,. Have you really seen Forsett? This dude is explosive! If you are in a PPR league, This is a no brainer. PT is sharing with 2 other backs. if JJ is out dont even think about PT. Forsett looks great in Goal line action also. Also Seattle could be up or down on the scoreboard. (even against the lowly rams).if bruised lung jones does play .Forsett will still get the majority of touches... USE your melon on this one... take your advice from the master.
Im in a 12 team 4000.$ league. my squad is as such:
QB Brady
RB1 Ricky Williams
RB2 Forsett
charles
slaton
snelling
slaton
WR1 Moss
WR2 Jackson
WR3 MSW
V. Davis
K Kaeding
D Arizona

Forsett, easy choice... even if Bush was out, Thomas has lost ALL redzone carries to Bell !!... . whoever says PT, must not own him and understand this frustration
