Leinart or A. Smith. WHIR (Thread edited)

My playoff life is in the balance. I thought I was stacked with my matchups this week, but chose to sit Miles Austin for T.O. And, G. Jennings laid an egg. AP is my RB1, and I'm nervous about his production. And, Warner has me very nervous.

I can see them resting Warner if they get ahead. And, i can see TEN knocking him out. I don't know, for some reason, I'm not confident in this matchup. Plus, I see TEN running the ball and controlling the clock.

6 pts. per passing TD. 1 pt. per 25 yds passing.

Am I crazy to consider benching Warner for A. Smith against Jax?

I'm listing my lineup and my opponents, so that you can see what I'm up against in this PPR, must win game. Win the game, I have a game lead in my division going into the final week. Lose, and I'm a game behind in my division and will most likely miss the playoffs.
QB: Warner
RB: AP
RB: R. Williams
Flex: TO--wish I would have played Austin
WR: Jennings
WR: Sims Walker
TE: Keller
DEF: Jets
K: Gould

Opponents Lineup: QB: Peyton
RB: MJD
RB: M. Bell
Flex: Harvin
WR: Colston
WR: Cotchery
TE: Winslow
DEF: Ravens
K: Reed

Stick with Warner, looks like hes fine so far. If they are up, it most likely its due to his work. He practiced in full.

Your freakin out man...just chill and you'll be fine!!

Alex Smith is not better than Warner. Stick with Warner, he's nearly fulyl recovered. He even played nother full series after his ultimate game ending hit last week. Stick with Warner this week, you will be fine.

Help with mine?

Are you crazy to consider Smith over Warner? IMO, yes. :-D

Warner is a stud with a ridiculous number of weapons at his disposal. Smith is an average QB with average weapons; his only upside is his matchup. Do I see the Cards running the ball more than normal? Yes, but Warner will still get his. He's almost a shoe-in for 250 and 2 TD's, and I think that's about where Smith's upside is...maybe 3 TD's if Davis get hold of a few in the end zone and Crabtree plays well. Don't freak yourself out--play your studs!

If you're around your computer this afternoon and have Leinart, Smith, and Warner all available ... I'd go with whoever turns out to be the Cards starter. Maybe I'm just down on Smith, because the one time I started him (week 10, to cover Schaub's bye) he sucked and cost me the week (versus starting any other FA QB).
