Help with the lasts CBS update:
According to NFL.com, Falcons RB Michael Turner, who has been dealing with a high ankle sprain, is expected to play against Tampa Bay on Sunday. Turner will test his ankle during warmups before the game, but he has shown enough progress during practice this week that he is likely to play. It is not known if he would start if he is active, but that most likely would be the case. Jason Snelling would start if Turner does not with Jerious Norwood also getting carries. Turner, who was injured in Week 10 at Carolina and missed the Week 11 game at the Giants, was officially listed as questionable.
This news comes as a surprise since it usually takes more than two weeks for a player to get over a high ankle sprain, but Turner has made enough progress in practice to consider suiting up against Tampa Bay with the Falcons fighting for the playoffs. If Turner is active and starting then we would consider him a No. 2 Fantasy RB. Snelling also would be considered a No. 2 option, and you have to worry about Turner suffering a setback during the game. Norwood's touches will be limited, making him no better than a low-end flex option in deeper leagues. We'll have the final word on all of these guys this Sunday on Fantasy Football Today, 11 a.m. ET here on CBSSports.com.
I've got Ray Rice @ RB1 and am down to Turner and J Stew for my RB2. So the question is Turner worth the gamble this week vs TB or Stewart the "safer" pick this week vs NYJ?
