funny, i have johnson burleson and fitzgerald on my team and am in the waiver wire to pick up avant tonight so i have the same question and I have no idea yet. know that warner will prob be out and fitz is playing late i probably will have to bench him -leinart didn't get him the ball last week.
So right now i thing i am going with avant because mcnabb throws so often and falcons defense banged up. Lots of people have johnson ranked high this week but i cant figure out why as the bengals have a stout defense and johnson looked handicapped against green bay. burleson i feel could have a good day as seattle is at home against a good run defense but after burleson put up a gooseegg against cardinals i am nervous about going with him. what do you think? i ll probably do avant and burleson and keep my superstuds on the bench, sounds crazy but thats my gut.

I was leaning towards Burleson, but looking at the past few weeks of Avant, I'm moving more in that direction. Megatron looked so banged up on Thanksgiving I'm benching him for sure.

Avant and Megatron...................dont know that the bengal defense is that good. they gave up well over 100 yards and a score to massq of the browns in the first meeting in cleveland......my fear on burleson is the qb, he only threw for 110 yards against the rams last week, a couple of weeks ago burleson did not have a catch..............calvin is suppossed to be healthy and the lions will be throwing a lot

The Bengals defense will double-team Mega all day long, but is a better option than Burleson. I do think Avant is the riskiest option though. Please check out my dilema!

yes, mega will be double teamed and i see a lot of 3 and outs for detroit. burleson did have 0 a few weeks ago when he was dumb enough to guarantee a win but sf defense will focus on run. hasselback only passed for 100 yards because they had big lead on rams and no reason to throw ball. that will be different this week as they will not have a good run against sf.
mcnabb is going to throw the ball all day long against a banged up bottom of the league falcons pass defense. avant may be the least risky of these 3.
any thoughts about fitzgerald if leinart starts against minnesota, i don't see arizona starting warner against allen and the vikings esp without there starting left guard. to me that spells season ending concussion for warner. can leinart get the ball to fitzgerald. he sure couldn't last week

Surprised you think Avant is the riskiest. He's been the most consistent as of late, even with Desean Jackson healthy.
