Which RBs and WR3

Postby ampant » Sat Dec 05, 2009 12:21 am

Full PPR league

RBs - Pick 2
Addai v TEN - Been solid all year, last week was his first down week in a while.
McCoy @ ATL - ATL is giving up the 10th most points to fantasy RBs, and DeShawn Jackson is out.
Jamaal Charles v DEN - At home. This guy has exceeded expectations every week since taking the starting role. Catches out of the backfield and getting all the touches. DEN is a middle of the road defense that has softened up in recent weeks.

WR3 -Pick 1
Chris Chambers @ DEN - Another guy who has outstripped expectations. #1 with Bowe's suspension. Will likely be wearing a cape named Champ Bailey though.
Donnie Avery @ CHI - Tons of targets, not tons of production. CHI is the 8th worst defense vs fantasy WRs
Santonio Holmes @ OAK - Sat Chambers last week because Asumghua would be on him, but he still had a nice game. Looking at the numbers, OAK is a below average deense vs WRs . . . giving the 14th most/game.

Leave a link and WHIR.

Thanks much

Tough call at RB. I don't think you can sit Addai, he's just been too consistent. I love McCoy's matchup, but there's no arguing with two things: Charles has been terrific, and Denver's front seven is really not that good. Addai and Charles would be my picks.

At WR, a little easier. I don't like Holmes, mainly because Aso is a one-sided corner. He plays the left corner, every down, and the Steelers don't move Holmes around very much. Also consider that Ben is likely to be handing off to Mendenhall a lot, the Raider run defense is terrible. Avery is a sketchy play with Boller at QB, but in a PPR league he should be good for 8-10 points. Chambers is the only clear start in that group. Good luck!

I agree with BearsFan on all accounts.

You can't sit Addai and Charles has been spectacular. As for WR, I would give Chambers the edge over the others with Avery 2nd.

I like McCoy and Charles here and Avery in a PPR. Good luck this week. Thanks for your help with mine!
