PLAYOFF HELP NEEDED BADLY!!!! WHIR!!!

Postby I Think Im Bowie » Tue Dec 08, 2009 11:01 am

I am so confused on who to start this week, I keep going back and forth....and its a must win week for me.

Standard league, 12 team, no ppr. Start 1 QB (Peyton, no question), 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 WR/TE, 1 TE. (so 3 WRs total)

RB
Grant @ CHI, McCoy @ NYG, Forte vs GB, Lynch @ KC

WR
D Jax @ NYG, Jennings @ CHI, Harvin vs CIN, Meachem @ ATL

TE
Tony G vs NO, Jermicheal Finley @ CHI

These are definitely not easy calls. Here's what I'd do:

Grant/McCoy
D Jax/Jennings/Meachem
Tony G (this one is obvious in my book)

The ones that I think are must starts are Grant, D Jax, and Tony G.

Please help:

I don't love your options, but I'd really not feel comfortable with Lynch in my lineup, so the RB decision is easy for me. At WR, I think I'd prefer Harvin in my lineup. It's a difficult choice, but I'd probably lean toward sitting Jennings. As much as Meachem has been hard to predict at times, he's on a tear right now and has to be in your lineup IMHO. At TE I think you have to go Gonzo. Jermichael is just too inconsistent and he's not playing on Monday night this time around.

Please help with mine.
When in doubt, punt!

scoring is TD heavy so Jennings/Meachem and DJax are must plays.

Running Backs I like Grant to Score and maybe Lynch. Safer play may be McCoy over Lynch.

Bump, only because Ive been helping and would really appreciate some more input to make my decision.

Some waiver wire possibilities; (although Im not sure any of these are better than what I have, what I really need to do is grab 1 or 2 Qbs in case Peyton sits early and Im screwed come Championship)

RB
Jerome Harrison, CLE
Sammy Morris, NE
Justin Fargas, OAK
Chris Brown, HOU
Willie Parker, PIT
Lendale White, TEN
Glen Coffee, SF
