Big help need for playoffs! 100% WHIR

Postby jhurstjunior » Tue Dec 08, 2009 2:21 pm

First week of the playoffs is here so it is win or go home time. I am up againts a guy that I lost to once by .86 pts and won by 2 pts the second time so all points are needed. I play in a 10 team standard scoring non-ppr yahoo league. My team is below and the starters I plan on using are in bold:

QB: Rivers, Favre
RBs: Addai, Moreno, Beanie Wells, J. Charles, L. McCoy
WRs: A. Johnson, Fitzgerald, Sims-Walker, Nate Burleson
TE: Visanthe Shiancoe
K: Shayne Graham
DEF: Arizona, Chicago
IDP: David Hawthorne

Am I making the right choices for this week. Any input is highly appreciated. Also do I target anybody from off the waivers to improve my playoff chances? I am thing of picking up the Bills DEF against KC this week, but not for sure on that one. I am also looking at adding Meachem after his big game, Davone Bess, or Jerome Harrison. I have the top priority on waivers this week who do I target to make my team better for the playoffs? Leave you link and I will help you out.

I think you are making the right choices, but playing Rivers over Favre is a toss up since both are doing well right now.

As for your RB, I agree with both. Charles should be the play to make at home vs Buffalo.

WRs is a no brainer, you picked the correct 3.

Good luck with the playoffs!

I like it just the way you have it. I wouldnt go with Buffalo D. They are playing in KC and the Chiefs offense is capable of putting up some points plus they may have a hard time stopping Charles. I would consider them if they were playing at home but not on the road.

thanks for the help on mine

Definitely pick up the Bills defense and drop the Bears. They suck. I'm worried Indy starts blowing out Denver and they sit their starters so I'd probably go with either Moreno or McCoy which ever you like better, I am playing Moreno over him this week but it's extremely close.

I'd start Moreno over Charles.
Arizona (looked good against MIN last week) so I'd roll w/ them again
Def target Meachem off waivers

Yeah I like your picks. I would probably start Favre over Rivers, but that's just me they are both playing great. Meachem would be a great addition.

You need to get Meahcem (hope you get him)

Any other options on DEF? I don't like the Bills and the Bears have nothing left to offer you this year.

I think you have the right starters in place, except for MSW. If you get Meachem, you need to start him.
