Schaub owner needs help! WHIR

Postby thebrewz23 » Tue Dec 08, 2009 11:37 pm

Schaub owner in playoffs. He's looking really banged up. Cutler is my back-up. Don't trust him. Romo & Alex Smith available on waiver wire. Do I pick up one of those in event Schaub sits? Do I start one of those over Schaub in week 14? Leave a link! Thanks!

I would drop Cutler and pick up Romo for this week in a shoot out with San Diego.

agree about cutler, especially going against GB. I think Schaub will be fine. Romo wouldn't be a bad pickup but I don't think the move is absolutely necessary. How in the heck is he available in your league?

great question! it's an auction league, no player limits. one guy drafted Brees, Palmer and Romo. No one would trade him all year. Dropped Romo last week to fill a hole at WR.

if romo is still available i'd pick him up and drop cutler. better backup IMO just in case Schaub can't go.

Keep your eye on Alex Smith though, he has a beautiful matchup week 16 at home against Detroit!
Maybe drop Avant and Cutler for Romo and Smith if your that nervous about Schaub (understandabley). DeSean will probably be back this week, cutting deep into Avant's value. And yeah, I wouldn't trust Cutler anymore this year, and he doesn't have a soft opponent the rest of the fantasy playoffs.

Roll with Schaub (I'm doing the same thing), but grab Romo. And keep him going forward too - no way I'd hold Cutler over Romo. Good luck.
