Week 14 RB Mess... Please Help! WHIR~~

Postby sdnasty1 » Tue Dec 08, 2009 11:52 pm

So it's the first week of playoffs, and my running back core has been decimated by injuries. I have to start two of these in a non-ppr league.

Chris Brown vs. SEA
Jerious Norwood vs. NO
Justin Forsett @Hou
Marshawn Lynch @KC

I've also got Westbrook who may play, and if he does i'm starting him, but i'm assuming he's not until I hear anything to the contrary. There is also Jerome Harrison (vs Pitt) and Justin Fargas (vs. Wash) on waivers until tomorrow.

Please give me some input and a URL and WHIR. Thanks!

I think I'd go with Lynch and Forsett. If Turner doesn't play I'd consider Norwood over Forsett for sure.

Forsett's super-frustrating to own given Seattle's inexplicable loyalty to Jones. Even so, of those four, I'd start him this week.

For the second spot, it gets tougher. Harrison isn't a bad play against a now-unintimidating Pitt defense, but that's probably the worst match-up of the bunch. Brown could get some playing time if Houston goes up early, but he's definitely worth more in PPR than standard scoring. Norwood is only worth a start if Turner sits obviously, and I have a feeling Atlanta's gonna be passing most of the game to catch up to NO. Lynch has been playing fairly well lately and gets a decent match-up with KC.

In the end, I start Brown and Forsett; consider plugging Norwood in for either (although Forsett is sharing carries, so he'd be the first to go in my opinion) if Turner sits.
