Serious Dilemma at QB...please help.

Postby Jai » Wed Dec 09, 2009 8:19 am

1st week of the playoffs. We start 1 QB, I have Cutler and Campbell.

I needed to win the last two weeks to get into the playoffs and Campbell was huge for me (28 pts in week 12 and 50 pts in week 13) so I'm leaning toward keeping him in there. Campbell plays OAK and their secondary is strong but Cutler faces GB...hence the dilemma.

Our QB scoring is as follows:

1 point per completion
-1 per incompletion
25 yards per point
6 per passing TD
-2 per int
-2 per sack

WHIR.

Thanks for the help on mine.

Cutler's the more-talented QB, but given his performance of late, along with the facts that he injured his hand a bit (I think) and he's playing against GB, I'd use Campbell. Washington's been on an offensive tear recently (relatively, anyway)...and even though they may run more to capitalize on Oakland's front seven, their secondary isn't much to speak of either once you account for their one shutdown player.

This should not even be a question.
Cutler is horrible and they are playing GB
Cambell will keep it going this week . 280 yards passing and 2 to 3 TDs

Yeah, I would definitely go with Campell. Especially with -1 per incomplete. Cutler makes too many risky throws.

Campbell all the way. I'd be weary of the majority of QBs going against GB.
QB - Brett Favre
RB - Adrian Peterson, Chris Johnson, Rashard Mendenhall, Brandon Jacobs
WR - Mike Sims-Walker, Percy Harvin, Sydney Rice, Robert Meachem, Mario Manningham, Steve Smith (CAR)
TE - Kevin Boss
K - Ryan Longwell
DEF - Cincinatti, Pittsburgh

Tough call both DEF's have been good lately. I would stick with Campbell. He looked good against NO last week.

As for Cutler, outside of his TE he can't hit a brick wall. His timing is really off with the WR's on CHI that all he is doing is handing off or quick out routes to the TE.

help with mine,
