McNabb or Alex Smith (SF)

Postby RunnaThaMills » Thu Dec 10, 2009 5:16 pm

McNabb has cost me games in the last 3 weeks. He has been lackluster, loosing snaps to Vick, or handing the ball of due to blow-outs. Philly faces Dallas this week and the 49ers face Arizona. Who is the better start for this upcoming week. It's do or die this week for me - WHIR- leave link.

Im in a similar spot between Smith and Flacco. Flacco seems tempting against DET but Flacco (like McNabb to you) has been killing me for the last 5 weeks. I actually see Dallas putting up some points, so I would go against McNabb who will have to catch up. Same thing can be said for Smith, but if Favre put up 2 TDs and 2 INts last week, can you really expect Smith to top that?

please help with mine

I am beginning to think that weather will be an issue... A football game @ the Giants or San Fran???

What does anyone think?

I would roll with Smith! I don't like the arguement that Farve put up 2 td's and int's cuz, well its Farve, although he's been good this year, its not like he never been known to get wild and throw INT's. Smith is a solid start, I think it'll be a shoot out and I wouldnt doubt that Smith will have another good game.

It's supposed to be cold and rainy in NY and its supposed to be cold and rainy in SF, weather may play a part, but San Fran has been airing it out lately, I doubt they'll let a little rain get in the way of that. Plus they apparenlty forgot they have a great running back named Gore.

I like Smith this week. I think San Fran will bounce back and not want to see the Cards celebrate a division title in their building in front of a national audience on Monday night.
