Nov 20 Corey Dillon wasn’t listed on the Bengals’ injury report Wednesday and coach Marvin Lewis said he plans to use him in the same backfield with Rudi Johnson this Sunday against the Chargers, the Associated Press reports. "We're experimenting with trying to come up with a way to put them both in there," Lewis said Wednesday. "Rudi deserves an opportunity to play as well. Obviously Corey's our starter. We'll look at that down the road, too.”
Views: Unfortunately, it appears Rudi’s run is coming to an end. This puts a damper on both back’s value as it’s still unclear how Lewis plans to split the carries, but Dillon will almost certainly get more than the six carries he had last week. Lewis may hint how he intends to divvy the carries later in the week, so check back before you decide on your starter.
THAT'S GOT TO HURT. I feel bad for Rudi. I'm playing the guy starting Rudi this week so this bodes well for me. I just thought I'd throw this out there.
Man, that stinks. Henry goes down and now I don't have Rudi to rely on. I am playing a pretty hot team this week so I will need some luck to win. Maybe James Jackson can do soemthing or maybe Warrick will have another great game.
ha, im a dillon owner, and i just traded rudi for laverneous coles, so basically interms of what dillon did as a starter previously, and what rudi may not accomplish now, im probably not out anything.
I will still start Rudi. Dillon says he's fine only because he really has to in order to look like he is trying, but he will take himself out of another game at halftime because his groin will tighten up again.
If he keeps sitting out when he says that he is fine, his value in the NFL will plummet and CIN will not be able to unload this giant pain in the ass.

I too am still playing him - never listen to coaches in this league - just look at the trends. Remember Tice guaranteeing Bennett to get carries the past few weeks? Bennet hasn't gotten squat. You have to play your best guy, that's what Lewis is going to do. Tice played Williams almost the whole game, and I believe that's what the Bungles, well Bengals will do with Johnson...he's too good to allow Dillon to steal more than 6-10 carries from.
Dillon, you can suck salami you bastard
