Handcuffing top rbs johnson/rice

Postby jackarmani » Mon Dec 14, 2009 6:55 am

i have never been a fan of handcuffing players, i'd much rather have another player who starts than a backup who only sees time if theres an injury, but i've reached the playoffs this year and i'm wondering whether i should do it.

I have chris johnson and ray rice.

My backups (newly brought in) are jerome harrison (cleveland) and chris brown (houston), both of which were predicted to be starters (and were) but did nothing in their games this week. They have easy schedules but in reality wont play unless johnson/rice go down injured.

But if they go down injured then wouldn't lendale white/willis mcGahee become good options (both are available in my league).

So should i drop either jerome harrison/chris brown and pick up willis mcgahee/lendale white? or both? Also jason snelling is available in FA and with turner possibly out for more time he could have a nice matchup vs buffalo week 16.
