The iPhone took a dive onto the marble yesterday and the screen is a cobweb of sharp edges. 5 months left on my original 2 year AT&T contract.

What's the latest and greatest on the droid frontier?

HTC had the Incredible battling strong for years and they just came out with the Incredible 2. I haven't heard much about it, but if it's anything like the first, it'll be a phenomenal phone, worth a look. Here is CNET's review.

Ouch.

People sometimes makes fun of my OtterBox bulletproof-shatterresistant-nuclearstrikedeflecting case but I've dropped my other phones way too many times to not protect this iPhone considering the replacement costs.

+1 for Otterbox. My Otterbox case has saved my HTC Evo more than a few times. ;-D

This guy's iPhone survived (sort of) a fall from his pocket while skydiving.

I am trying out an HTC inspire. It sure is big. I can't type any better in thus keyboard than the iPhone.

Havent had a lot if time to play with it yet. I've git a bud who is into rooting them. Maybe he can make it sparkle more.

I love my iphone. Couldnt imagine having anything different. The case I have on it has saved it from drops a few times. It also creates a nice grip so I don't drop it as much

Has anyone replaced the screen on their iphone, and if so, can you let me know the difficulty? The guy at the store said $75 for replacing the broken screen. the parts are on ebay for ten bucks. I just want to know if I should cough up the extra for someone else to do it.

I can change out hard drives, cpu's, etc. so i'm ok with cracking the case of something. but the itty bitty little screws in there and my pi-squared fingers aren't so confident.
