Somehow, by luck and the play of my non-quarterback players, I have made the Super Bowl in my league (Week 15 NFL), despite having no steady QB. I REALLY need to make a good choice for this week, and I'm very unsure. Last week I went with Young on the waiver wire...as we know, he played very well for a half, then came out with an injury; he is very uncertain for this week, and frankly I don't want to risk playing a guy that may come out at any time. So here are my options:
Flacco (on my roster) vs Chicago - Flacco despite a DECENT week last week against the worst pass defense in the league, has been awful for about 7 weeks straight. I simply don't trust him, and this matchup is just average.
Young (on my roster) vs Miami - If Young was 100% this is definitely where I'd be going this week. I like this matchup and the way he has been playing lately. However, he is nowhere near 100%, and it may be too risky of a start.
Matt Ryan (on my roster on IR) @ Jets - Way too risky if he does play, and I don't like the matchup anyway.
Campbell (available on waive wire) vs NYG - JC has been putting up quality numbers lately AND the Giants have been awful against the pass recently. A very likely possibilty, but I am scared that this may be an old school NFC East defensive brawl/low scoring run game..not that likely considering the way the teams have played recently, but possible
Orton (on WW) vs Oakland - great matchup although Orton hasn't been lighting it up lately. Seems like AT LEAST a same 15+
At the moment I'm leaning toward one of the last two...never in a MILLION YEARS would I think I'd be starting one of these guys in the superbowl..fantasy is crazy
What do you guys think? Thanks in advance...

I'd go with Campbell. I think it's likely DEN eats up the ground all day against a bad OAK run defense, while the WAS/NYG game should be more balanced and may favor an air attack. Did you SEE the PHI/NYG game? Not exactly an NFC East turf battle, was it?
I just think there'll be a lot more air time for Campbell than for Orton...

I totally agree, but I just have these nervousness that Skins/Giants could (for some strange reason) turn into that type of undesirable game. Thanks for insight

I say Orton, Cambell vs Giants at the stadium has been a horrible place for Cambell he hasnt played well there. I think Orton is less of a gamble, a safer play. Im kind of in the same boat....help me? http://www.fantasyfootballcafe.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=464950
