Sims-Walker or Cribbs and Ganther or Barber- Immediate WHIR

Postby Big Chief Triangle » Wed Dec 16, 2009 11:47 pm

Not sure which way to go here.

14 Team PPR with a RB/WR/TE Flex. I have the #1 Seed and this is my 1st game after my bye

I have Michael Turner on my injured list. If turner plays this week my dilemma is solved.

I am really worried about Barber since Romo thinks he's the second coming of Dan Marino.

My team consists of

Brady
Barber
Jacobs
Hines
Bowe
Crabbtree
Flex-Sims-Walker/Cribbs/Ganther/C.Jennings/
Tony G.
Bironas

I would lean towards MSW over Cribbs, as Jenning seems to be the primary ball carrier going into this week. Unless Cribbs scores on a return, even though he's a beast in that department, that is a pretty unlikely feat for any player. Jags will probably be playing from behind and have to air it out. I think I would start Ganther over Barber, as he's getting the bulk of the carries, (Cartwright had like 3 last week I think) and the Giants have given up like 17 scores on the ground this year. I think that will be a close grind it out game, with the way the Redskins have been playing lately.

I have Sims-Walker as well and have already decided to bench him. Calf (or any leg injuries) are tough on WRs. Cribbs may get you some points as a WR (if rushing yards count for your WRs). So, roll with him.

I would go Ganther over Barber since it looks like he'll be getting the most carries and goal line work. Plus, the Giants defense stinks lately.

Thanks for mine.

i agree, barber hasnt done much and ganther is supposed to put up some points this week against a poor (as of late) giants defense.

I'd also go with Cribbs, he is the only talent on that team, so u can get passing/rushing/receiving yards from him, if there is any tds scored by cleveland, 99.9% chance it goes through cribbs
